Following a $30 price drop for their PSP-3000, Sony continues its hardware discounting by cutting the PSPGo from $200 to $150. Joystiq spotted the initial announcement on Sony’s official site. The $200 price came a year after the device’s launch, which was originally priced at $250.

The self-proclaimed “worst secret of the show,” Sony recently announced the release of the PSP Go, to little surprise but hearty acclaim. Set to release on October 1st, with the PSP iteration of Gran Turismo acting as a launch title, the PSP Go will retail for $250.
