A joint statement from Sony and Rockstar last week puts the blame for the recent console overheating during L.A. Noire squarely on…nothing yet. Earlier suspected culprits like Sony’s 3.61 firmware update and Rockstar’s new interactive film noir game have been dismissed in the week or so since the original complaints starting coming in.
Rockstar’s L.A. Noire will be getting its first downloadable case, “Nicholson Electroplating”, on June 21st. Revolving around an arson crime, vouchers were handed out briefly at select Best Buy’s at a very brief launch events for the original game.
