Currently, developer Naughty Dog has been working on the hit ps3 exclusive, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and has handed the series to developer High Impact Games with the game, Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier, due out on PS2 and PSP November 4th. With no word on a 3rd installment of the Uncharted franchise, will Naughty Dog’s next project be a Jak and Daxter game?
Long time rival, Ratchet and Clank has already witness titles on next gen systems as seen with Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty in 2007 and 2008 respectively. A Fall 2009 title to finish the trilogy, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time has also been announced.
Naughty Dog community manager, Arne Meyer told Eurogamer, “We definitely hear a lot from our Jak fans and we’d love to be able to be working on a new Jak product at some point, That might be on the cards, we’d like to work on [a ps3 game]”
