QuakeCon – Four new screenshots of the upcoming first-person shooter RAGE were released this weekend, being developed by industry veterans id Software for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC/Mac platforms.
“RAGE represents a new direction for our games,” said Todd Hollenshead, CEO of id Software. “RAGE is a shooter unlike any other, developed on our cutting edge new technology, and built to the exacting standards id is famous for.”
There is no official word about a release date.
So I guess Post-Apocalyptic is in. Fallout 3, Borderlands, FUEL, etc. Although this one seems to have a bit of the ‘Hills Have Eyes’ thrown in. I look forward to mowing down mutants and marines alike.

Eliot, it looks like Fallout 3 meets Borderlands, meets FUEL, now that is a combination I would like to see more info on.
