Codemasters confirmed today that their upcoming tactical FPS Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising has gone gold. This means that the game has been finalized and is currently in mass production. Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will be released on October 6th in the United States. In Europe, the game will hit the shelves on October 8th, with the exception of the United Kingdom, where the game will be available a day later. The game will be released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.
To commemorate this production-milestone, a new gameplay trailer showing one of the missions included in the game was released. It is included after the break.
