Monster Hunter, Super Street Fighter Delayed Further into 2010

With so many AAA titles being delayed into the next calendar year, it seems probable that all of the games pushed back to avoid a crowded holiday season are in fact creating an equally crowded first quarter of 2010. Developer Capcom seems to agree with the sentiment, as three of its high-profile releases; Lost Planet 2, Monster Hunter Tri, and Super Street Fighter IV; are seeing delays further into next year, beyond the fiscal year end-date of March 31, 2010. The already delayed Dark Void will keep its current release date.

Capcom’s official word on the push-back is to “avoid competing with the major titles that other companies plan to introduce in the 4th quarter.”

Damn it Capcom, I want my damn Monster Hunter Tri already, I could care less about everything else, I just want some good Monster Hunter without having to buy another console, or trying to find the PS2 games.
