Like EA and many other companies looking at another fiscal quarter in the comparative drain, Aspyr Media – publishers of the Mac versions of Civilization IV and The Sims 2 – has recently confirmed a layoff of up to 50% of their staff. According to Big Download, the company (whose most recent effort was the Xbox Live and Playstation Port of Call of Duty Classic) will be left only with a handful of personnel.
