Today, Capcom has issued a press release in which its line-up for the Spring season was detailed.
First of all, the Wii-exclusive RPG Monster Hunter Tri will be released in the United States and Europe in April. The game was released in Japan in August 2009 and has become the best selling third party game for the Wii in Japan.
Third-person shooter Lost Planet 2 will be released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 18th. The game will feature four-player online cooperative game modes, as well as an extensive single player campaign.
Capcom will also be releasing two fighting games during the Spring. Final Fight: Double Impact will be released on Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade at an unspecified date during the season. The game is a combined re-release of two classic beat-’em-ups, Final Fight and Magic Sword, both of which were arcade hits during the early ’90s. Finally, Super Street Fighter IV will release on April 27th in the United States and April 30th in European territories. Super Street Fighter IV is an updated version of Street Fighter IV, released in February 2009, and features new characters, moves, stages and game modes. The game will be released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Update: Capcom has also revealed that Dead Rising 2 will release this year. Furthermore, a live-action movie based on the game will be released as well. This movie will be known as Zombrex: Dead Rising Sun.
Zombrex: Dead Rising Sun….this could either be awesomely bad or horrifically wrong.
OH, So their delays aren’t that delayed after all. Gonna get Monster Hunter Tri with the Classic Controller Pro. Dead Rising 2 is also on my radar.
