Despite the now historic failure of a Halo MMO to see the light of day, Bungie may be feeling strong enough to debut their own entry in the genre. Finished with their flagship series, and not fully attached to Halo Online in the first place, a tease out of the GDC Online Games Summit has left many wondering. Given its recent partnership with Online-savvy Activision Blizzard, the opportunity has never been greater for a persistent Bungie world.
“Wouldn’t it be great if we could make a world that was always there for you? Wow. That would be great,” teased Bungie’s Joseph Staten.
