EA has announced that the upcoming expansion pack to Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which will be set during the Vietnam-era, will be released on December 21st. PC Gamers who purchase the expansion pack directly from the EA store will gain three days of early access to the game, effectively placing the PC launch of Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam on December 18th.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was released in March earlier this year, with the expansion pack being unveiled at the E3 in June. Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam will feature four all-new maps, six new vehicles and fifteen new weapons from the Vietnam era. Additionally, new voice-overs for both the Vietnamese forces as well as the Americans have been recorded.
Wow. EA just has no shame anymore. Why don’t they just call it Call of Duty: EA edition?
Only four new maps for an expansion? I’m surprised to be honest.
