Warner Bros. Interactive has confirmed that the upcoming third installment in the F.E.A.R series has been delayed by two months, and is now set for a release in May 2011. The game was originally scheduled for a release somewhere in 2010, but Warner Bros. indicated in August that the game would not be ready in time for the new year, with a new release date of March 22nd being announced in October.
According to Warner Bros., the additional development time will aid Day 1 Studios in delivering the best possible game, and that the game would be worth the wait. A specific release date other than “May 2011” was not provided.
