Despite reporting that Enslaved: Odyssey to the West failed to move more than 500,000 units in the previous three months, the financial results form the period of April – December 2010 were generally positive. Hoping to extend the success of titles released last year, the company also announced a large number of new games for almost all available platforms.

Amongst those announced is a new installment in the Ridge Racer franchise. This latest title, which is known as Ridge Racer Unbounded, will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. Another Ridge Racer title is also set for launch on the Nintendo 3DS in Spring.

A third installment in the Gundam-based spin-off franchise from Dynasty Warriors was also announced, promising over 50 playable characters and 70 useable mobile suits. In short, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 wil supposedly feature all major characters from over 30 years of anime, and features 4-player online cooperative play for the campaign missions. The game will be available worldwide this summer, and Namco Bandai has confirmed it will be made available for the Playstation 3 as well as Xbox 360.

The third title that was announced concerns a combo-package containing a new Pac-man title, as well as a new Galaga title. Pac-man Tilt will make use of the Nintendo 3DS accelerometers that will allow players to influence the game maps by tilting their handheld. Galaga 3D Impact will replicate the classic arcade game from 1981, but with added functionality for the aforementioned accelerometers contained in the 3DS. Players will control their ship by moving their handheld around. Both games will be available in a duo-package, titled Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions.

The final title that was announced concerns another Nintendo 3DS title, known as Dualpensports. As the name implies, this title is a game that utilizes two stylus pens to play the seven sport-oriented mini-games, like archery, boxing, and soccer. Dualpensports is expected to hit retailers this spring.

  1. Nice. Another title not mentioned here is a localization of Tales of Graces F, which was announced on Wednesday. Presumably it will be on the PS3 considering that is where the game is on in Japan.

Hopefully the new Gundam game will not have dumb enemies this time around.

Ultimately I am waiting on news of more Tales games, and what will be happening with Tekken Tag 2, and Tekken 7 when they get around to it.

    1. You and me both on Tekken Tag 2. Here’s hoping they do the right thing and bring back the only character they ever killed, and my favorite, Jun.

In keeping my ear to the ground for all things Tekken, most signs point to Tekken 7 being faaaaaar down the line, as we are expecting a two-year development cycle for Tekken x Street Fighte; from arcade to console and all.

      1. Yeah, I think we are looking at a late 2012 or 2013 release of Tekken 7. They could bump up development a bit to put out a new game for the fighting scene, but I will make my reservations about when the game will be released.

I am just wondering who that masked woman fighter is. She looks like Christie, but has a fighting style that is a mix of Christie and Lili, and possibly a little bit of King.

I am looking forward to how SFvT and TvsSF turns out. I want Lili to be in both, so I can just right in and cause some chaos.
