‘Professor Layton and the Curious Village’ Sells 1 Million in Japan

You read right, Professor Layton and the Curious Village just passed 1 million units sold in Japan, according to a Twitter message from Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, 4 years and nearly two months after its release. While the first game in the franchise has been sold to the milestone, the series as a whole has sold over 11.5 million units worldwide in its first four games. The fifth, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle launched at the top of the Japanese charts for Nintendo’s new 3DS.
