Namco Bandai held its “Level Up” conference in Dubai, hosting several reveals for the company across multiple high-profile franchises. The most reported of which is the confirmation of Soul Calibur V that was originally teased by a less than mysterious countdown site. Soul Calibur V will follow Patroclus, son of Sophita, and take place 17 years after Soul Calibur IV. A more robust character creation mode will be included, but all other info will wait to be revealed until E3.

The other big reveal came at the end of the conference, when a trailer for “Tekken Blood Vengeance”. Taking place in between Tekken 5 and 6, the fully CG film will come courtesy of Digital Frontier (“Resident Evil: Degeneration”), with a script from Dai Sato (“Cowboy Beebop”, “Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex”).

Some trailers and release dates were also shared. A new “Dragonball Z” game was announced for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, as well as an Ace Combat title and Tales of the Abyss for 3DS. Naruto: Ultimate Ninja makes it way to the PSP this September, with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon flying onto PS3 and 360 on October 11th, and Dark Souls on the same platforms sometime that same month. Ridge Racer Unbounded hits the PS3 and 360 on February 7, 2012, and Tales of Grace F will hit the PS3 sometime later that year.
