With rumors surrounding a possible leak of the next Assassin’s Creed title having surfaced earlier this week, Ubisoft has launched a Facebook page in which it is encouraging users to tweet about the new title, in order to get a sneak peak at the reveal of the game. More information is included after the jump.

Having released two short teasers for the newest title, which is rumored to be named Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Ubisoft has put up a Facebook page where users can tweet about the newest mystery. At this time, the community has managed to complete 10% of the challenge, though the current number of tweets and ‘likes’ that will be required for completion are unclear. The page in question can be found here.

Ubisoft previously confirmed that the next installment in the franchise would be announced within the coming month. The E3 press conference of the developer / publisher is scheduled for June 6th, with a definitive reveal of the game expected then.

The teaser trailer has a few clues, like Arabic letters saying “Altair son of no one”, no Ezio, something about an island test (source/islandtest.ageo maybe something to do with Japan), mention of anima which could be a female character, 12 chapters, and a blurred image of a cloaked character with gold trimming.

A lot of this is speculation, but I hope they go into some of the more cryptic scenes of AC2 and maybe change the formula of the gameplay a bit.
