The existence of some form of a multiplayer campaign in Mass Effect 3 has been a subject artfully dodged by Bioware and Electronic Arts so far. But according to a flyer from South African retailer BT Games, the Collector’s Edition of the game counts an “online multiplayer pass” among its features, leading to rampant speculation that multiplayer has finally come to the franchise. Of course, the possibility exists that this is just a vaguely defined allusion to the Cerberus Network, the voucher included with new copies of ME2 that granted access to the game’s downloadable content store. Bioware and Electronic Arts have yet to comment on the new speculation.
