Earlier today, Activision issued a press release stating that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has become the fastest-selling entertainment product of all time, by grossing more than $1 billion in a mere 16 days. The record previously held by the 2009’s Avatar, which reached the same amount in 17 days.
Despite this tremendous success, VG247 reports that in the United Kingdom, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has replaced the 8th installment in the Call of Duty series at the top of last week’s top-selling titles.
Disgraceful, seriously this just proves there’s too many people addicted to rubbish and they have more money than sense.
It’s about time call of duty ended, rehashed garbage.
