A user on the Neogaf forums has posted a screenshot showing language files for Remedy’s Alan Wake, which supposedly have recently been uploaded to steam. This would suggest that a release for the platform may be imminent. Alan Wake was originally released as an Xbox 360 exclusive in May 2010, following a development cycle of over seven years. A year before the game was released, developer Remedy announced that the game would not be released for PC. Though teased multiple times, Remedy has never officially confirmed that a PC version of the action / thriller title was in the works.
No official statement by Remedy, Microsoft, or Valve, has been made regarding the rumors.
