Capcom has issued a press release (via Joystiq) stating that Street Fighter X Tekken, which was released for PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360 a few months ago, will also be heading to iOS later this summer. More details regarding the port are included after the jump.
The handheld version will be based on the console edition of the game and feature a new control scheme, several new game modes, as well as a new take on the tag-team battle mode. So far, only Ryu and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter franchise, and Kazuya and Nina from the Tekken universe have been confirmed to be playable in the game.
According to Capcom, the game is compatible with iOS 5 and will be available for iPhone 4, iPad 2, and newer models. No pricing information has been made available yet.
