While Angry Birds Space was considered more of a psuedo addition to this generation’s most successful new IP, an official sequel to the bird flinging physics blockbuster has been confirmed by developer Rovio as Bad Piggies. Considered a “launch of a new franchise” according to Rovio Executive Vice President Petri Jarvilehto, Piggies will change the perspective of the avian/bacon conflict, casting players as pigs needing to construct egg-catching contraptions and vehicles.
Bad Piggies will launch simultaneously on PC, Android and iOS devices September 27th.
