Earlier today, All Things D reported that three top level executives at Zynga were making “abrupt departures” from the company.
CEO Don Mattrick has since confirmed the departures in a memo which was distributed internally and also posted on the company’s blog. Mattrick said the three executives: Cadir Lee, chief technology officer; Colleen McCreary, chief people officer; and David Ko, chief operations officer are leaving to “pursue other interests.”
The memo also outlines some organizational changes which will see a new executive team formed to take “layers out of the executive rank to get senior leaders closer to important product initiatives.”
