DonBradmanCricket14 13 Dec

Big Ant has announced that Don Bradman Cricket 14 will be hitting retail in 2014, instead of its original December 2013 release date.

“In order to bring the best possible game to the market at the best possible time we have decided to move the date into 2014,” a post on the game’s official Facebook page reads, in part. “We are working to get the game to all markets simultaneously and will advise as soon as we can of an exact release date once it is known.”

Ashes Cricket 2013 was released on Steam on November 22nd, but was pulled and had its console releases cancelled following negative feedback on the game’s quality.

Fallout 4 “appears to be set in Boston”, according to casting documents obtained by Kotaku.

The documents are for a casting call for a project codenamed Institute. While they do not reference the Fallout series directly, several references to “setting and locations” from the franchise appear throughout it. Kotaku also reports that the casting director for Institute is linked to previous projects at Bethesda Game Studio.

In August 2012, an anonymous Reddit poster claimed Bethesda had been visiting Boston locations. In January, 2013 Fallout 3 voice actor Erik Dellums wrote on Twitter that there “may be more of the Dog coming”, referencing his character from the game, DJ Three Dog.

Electronic Arts is under investigation by law firm Holzer Holzer and Fistel, LLC over allegedly misleading investors and analysts about the quality of Battlefield 4. The game was released in late October and has been plagued with issues since.

The investigation “focuses on statements [made between July 24 and December 4, 2013] regarding the development and sales of the Company’s Battlefield 4 video game and the game’s impact on EA’s revenue and projects moving forward”, the firm said. Holzer Holzer and Fistel is looking to determine whether or not EA violated federal security laws, by making false statements about the game’s status during that period.

The firm is encouraging those who purchased EA stock between July 24th and December 4th along with anyone who suffered investment losses this year to contact them regarding legal rights in this case.

EA announced last week that all future Battlefield 4 expansions had been put on hold until the game has been fixed, this resulted in the company’s stock dropping 7.3 percent.
