The lackluster sales of the recent Godfather II must have really spit in Electronic Art’s canolis, because the publisher recently announced the discontinuation of any games in the Godfather franchise, with no plans for any games to begin development in the future. While this doesn’t mean the death for any possible games to ever hold the license in the future, but for now, the offer has been refused. EA Games president Frank Gibeau, when questioned on the issue, simply stated, “We’re not doing another one.”
