Amazon and Gamestop have listed December 1st as the release date for Max Payne 3. Rockstar has yet to make an official statement regarding the listed release date. The game was originally intended for a release in 2009, but has been pushed back several times. The game was not included in Rockstar’s financial planning for the calendar 2011 – 2012, though website Rockstarwatch.net has stated it received a message from Amazon stating that the release date had been changed by the publisher itself.
