The crowd-funding adventure that was started by Double Fine on February 8th has hit the $2 million mark in less than 12 days. More details after the jump.

Having raised more than five times as much as the company was originally trying to obtain, Tim Schafer has announced that the currently unnamed point & click adventure that is being funded will be developed for PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android. A DRM-free version will also be available, in addition to a version for Steam. The funds will also be used to localize the title into French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

Though 60,000 fans have already backed the project through Kickstarter, the project will remain available for further investments until March 13th.

Which of you Elder Geeks have already signed up to back this Double Fine production?
