‘Resident Evil 6′ Launch Date Pushed Up to October
12 Apr, 2012
Capcom has surprised us all again with its continued unorthodox treatment of Resident Evil 6‘s release date. First the publisher broke it’s own mold by announcing a release date in the game’s debut trailer (a first for the franchise and its notoriously belated launches), and now the latest media for the game has its release window bumped up a month. According to RE6‘s Captivate trailer, the action-horror shooter will be arriving on October 2nd, a full month and three weeks ahead of its original November 22nd deadline.
While the trailer is comparatively light on reliable game intel, we did find out that Resident Evil 6‘s third protagonist is the son of series’ antagonist Albert Wesker.
