Updated ‘Final Fantasy VII’ Confirmed for PC
06 Jul, 2012
It’s not the full HD re-release fans have been clamoring for (and Square recently gave their sole requirement for), but Final Fantasy VII‘s newly confirmed PC release comes with a host of online features new to the classic RPG. The re-release boasts 36 Achievements, Cloud Saves (insert pun on protagonist’s name here), and a new Character Booster system that allows for players to automatically increase HP, MP and Gil up to their maximum at will. Square Enix has yet to confirm whether the latter will require micro-transactions.
No other updates have been confirmed for the re-release, which as of now sits on a vague “Coming Soon” release date.
