Capcom announced a new entry in its Strider franchise at San Diego Comic Con today. Capcom has also made a new post on its website to show screenshots, an announcement trailer and a gameplay trailer along with more details about the game.
“Yes, the unstoppable, Cypher-wielding ninja Hiryu returns in Strider,” the announcement on Capcom’s website reads, in part. “The year is Meio: 048, and Hiryu, a young but deadly assassination expert is out to eliminate Grand Master Meio. Use Hiryu’s deft acrobatic skills to explore open, vast, and interconnected ‘2.5D’ environments. ”
Strider is being developed by Double Helix and is due early 2014 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
