An announcement trailer for Lost Planet 3 was one of the bigger announcements coming out of Capcom’s Captivate event this year, especially with the change in developers. Capcom has moved production on the shooter westward to Spark Unlimited (Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Legendary), with the game apparently returning to the frozen wastelands of the original Lost Planet, if the trailer is any indication.
Lost Planet 3 will launch sometime in 2013 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. A more robust announcement on the title and it’s new studio home is expected sometime in the near future.
