5th Cell (Scribblenauts, Drawn to Life) announced recently that they are delaying their Xbox Live Arcade-bound third person shooter Hybrid into sometime in 2012. Jeremiah Slaczka, head of the studio, stated that the game has been delayed in response to the audience reaction received at GDC.

According to a report by Massively, former Realtime Worlds boss Dave Jones is working with GamersFirst on All Points Bulletin: Reloaded. Jones was the designer behind the ill-fated first incarnation of All Points Bulletin, which was released in June 2010, but shut down within three months as the developer was forced to enter into administration.

Marvelous Entertainment (Harvest Moon, JP Publisher for Muramasa: The Demon Blade, and Deadly Premonition) entered into a merger with AQ Interactive (Blue Dragon Plus, Kong DS-10) yesterday. Mobile game-maker Liveware was also included, but was an owned property of Marvelous prior to the merger. The new company, Marvelous AQL, will be finalized on October 1st.
