The addictive and abusive Super Meat Boy is the newest target for PETA’s flash game-centric rage. Like Cooking Mama before, the folks at PETA have responded to what they see as an endorsement of an unhealthy and immoral lifestyle with their version of the game that sparked their ire. In Super Tofu Boy, players are still an ambitious globule taking on ridiculous levels to save Bandage Girl, but this time they are a cube of Tofu, going up against Meat Boy himself in a sort of Donkey Kong 2 protagonist reversal. Don’t think Blizzard gets tired swinging their ban hammer. The mega-developer just released the fury on a new collection of StarCraft 2 hackers and illegal players. No details were released on this specific mass-ban, but it appears that the situation is similar to the previous bans earlier this year. Blizzard has released an official statement on the matter, which can be read after the jump.

Since it's on the Wii, the developers felt obliged to add wiggle, and in the case of this image, tilt controls.

New Super Mario Brothers Wii has broken many sales records in nearly every region, but this latest may hold the most pride for Nintendo. The game has just become the first quadruple-selling title in Japan’s history, selling past the 4-million mark over this past weekend. Overall, according to September statistics released by Nintendo, the game has sold 16.7 million copies since launch, a figure no don’t supplemented by the recent 25th Anniversary Celebration of the franchise.

Amidst the after-math of its own legal battles, Southpeak Games has become the target of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Specifically, the charges alleged against the Two Worlds developer’s chairman Terry Phillips and CEO Melanie Mroz include mis-reporting of company finances and failure to follow government regulations on internal accounting. The company received Wells Notices to that effect in mid-November, the company filing in response to the charges on the 19th of the month. The timing of the charges comes less than a week after the resignation of former studio head Reba McDermott, adding a suspicion of whistle-blower mistreatment to the prospective charges. No further legal action has taken place at this time.
