Gamespot sources, supposedly close to a Take-Two subsidiary, are claiming that work on Grand Theft Auto V are “well underway” at Rockstar. Reportedly, production has reached the relatively late stage of integrating mini-games and final touches/polish. According to these sources, a 2012 release for the game is “pretty likely”.

According to VG247, SCEA president Jack Tretton has cast doubts on the supposed exclusivity of the Rockstar-developed title Agent. The espionage-title has been in development since 2007, and was formally announced during E3 2009. During a recent conference call, Rockstar-owner Take Two Interactive confirmed that the game was still in development.
