EA recently made head-way into a proposed merger of famed-RPG developer Bioware and massively multiplayer online games studio Mythic Entertainment into one major, RPG/MMO development company. The yet unnamed studio will be headed by Bioware general manager and co-founder Ray Muzyka, with Bioware’s other co-founder Greg Zeschuk will take on the role of Group Creative Officer. The announcement comes on the heels of Warhammer Online Lead Designer and Mythic Entertainment General Manager Mark Jacob’s leaving of the company in relation to the merger.
