Fans of Amnesia or the Penumbra series, get excited. Recently added to the Frictional Games site is a new game in development, which is a good sign and could be an entirely new game or a possible sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent, which would be our assumption.

No annoucements have been made about it, and the only links for it right now are for the ‘Games‘ page on their site and one link to an empty page.

Have any ideas on what this could be? Post in the comments!

Zynga has announced that their recently announced CityVille has become the fastest growing game of all time. In a mere twelve days, the game has managed to attract over 26 million users, of which 12 million use the game on a daily basis. After a fairly slow start, with only a million users trying the game within the first five days, nearly 25 million users signed up for the game in the past 7 days, with 4.9 million new users this Tuesday alone. In November, a total of 198 million users played at least one Zynga game. (more…)

Del Toro confirmed that the game has only been in development for about six months, and indicated that the first game won’t be released until 2013.

Though it might seem strange for a movie director to take the reins of a video game, Del Toro stated that he understands that the “narrative medium of videogames is entirely different [from those of movies]. […] The rules are different, the way you tell the story is different. You don’t come into this world and try to apply the same rules. I’m here to learn and try some crazy shit.” (more…)
